Acacia Energy acts, on your behalf, to provide access to the AEMO wholesale spot market and Frequency Control Ancillary Services (FCAS) market and optimises your return from participation in these markets.

We use our AEMO participant registrations to perform all market transactions and financial settlements with AEMO associated with these markets. This allows you to avoid investment in specialist market compliant systems.

Using the OBE platform, we autonomously monitor and control the renewable generation and storage assets (solar, wind, bio-diesel generation and/or battery) to optimise the income from the sale of exported electricity at the wholesale market spot price and from being enabled for responding to FCAS events, and the cost of recharging the battery to achieve the optimal state of charge.

Local storage of renewable generation output is automated to ensure that optimal value is achieved.
